Porter Lewis

Snuggler. That's what you are. A big snuggler. You know how to keep mommy and daddy pinned to the chair. I love your chubby cheeks. You also still have chub on your thighs that I love to pinch and kiss. Your feet are like Fred Flinstone's......chubby and most of the time sweaty. But this helps you scale mom's cabinets with ease, huh? We also love your little nose. Your profile is also a sweet one.

Your favorite foods are strawberries, Kashi cookies, waffles, grapes and Goldfish. You also love to eat peas, mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. You hold your plate up to mom when you are done. You also take your snack bowls and place them in the sink when done. You are always there to lend a hand to shut doors, cabinets, gates and drawers. Thank you. You are starting to want to carry the milk for mom when she has to fill up your cup.

You are saying new words every week. You love to dance. Why just this morning you were dancing to Beyonce with sister and mom. You go back and forth and even clap your hands and when the song is over you give the best "Yeah!" and clap. You love sharks and dinosaurs just as every boy should. You like stickers and getting into mom's purse and smashing her lipstick. You already know how to hold the mouse when on the PC at the library. You love the garden hose and had to be master of it this summer. I guess it's a guy thing. You like to collect sticks. You, too love the moon and stars. Our favorite thing as of late is when you pull the covers up and say "Night, night."

At times you and momma/dadda go head to head huh? I love your stubborn ways (at times). You are head strong and know what you want when you want it. "No cabinet to high, no drawer out of reach" is your motto.

You really like to give out hugs. Your hugs are great! Mom and Dad love you with all our hearts. We never take for granted how lucky we are to have you and your sister.

I love you Bub's.
Happy Thanksgiving to you!
Love, Mom

Abigail Marie

Abbey, you are our little half-pint. You are smaller than your brother but only by about 4 pounds. You are dainty and have the softest touch. The way you hold a flower in the cup of your hand when admiring is so thoughtful. You love shoes. When you throw a temper tantrum you take off your shoes and let us all smell the sweet aroma of your sweaty feet. We thank you for that. You even wear your shoes to bed. You love Princesses as all Princesses should. You also love trucks and cars. You love the moon and the stars and your bear. You are very helpful when it comes to closing doors and brushing your teeth. You know who Santa is and what a snowman is. You say "Caus" and "no-man". When someone is crying you say "cry?" and make a sad face and sniffle like you are crying. Your hair is very whispy and blows in the wind so pretty. We love it that you have hair now because in the beginning you had none. Even though your momma has a bow business you still won't let me put bows in your hair.

Your favorite foods are strawberries, grapes, crackers, cinnamon bread, chips, raisins and bananas. You even like corn on the cob. It's very funny to watch you and your brother eat corn on the cob. You like your toddler bed and usually go to bed without any fuss. Your Princess pillow has to be turned just right before you go to bed. You know about 8-10 letters in the alphabet, with B being your favorite. You like to give out hugs on your own terms. You like to color and play with straws and pipe cleaners.

I think you have the sweetest profile....your little nose and your ivory colored skin. You say "see" when momma is on her phone. You want to see the light. When a movie comes on and the 20th Century Fox logo is there, you say "0" and "2"........you love to learn your letters and numbers every night when daddy gives you your bath.

There is so much more about you and I could write a novel on how much I love and adore you.

Love,
Mom
Oh and Happy Thanksgiving Sweetie!

Play group
I've started taking the kids to playgroup on Fridays. The kids love it and I really like the moms in the group. Just a small group. So nice. Thank you Nancy for introducing me to the moms and inviting me to join in. In the pics you can see that Abigail has something blue on under her shirt. That's her swimsuit. She had to wear it today. Oh boy.

Porter playing in the tree.......no he wasn't in the tree. It was a big tree with a huge base.

Not one McCain sign.

At the Hop
The kids did great last night. Abbey didn't want to put on her poodle skirt on at first, but then ended up liking it once it was on. She loved the glasses as did Porter. The glasses were hilarious.

Cat eyes

What am I supposed to be doin' here, mom?

Oh I'll look pretty!

Here's pretty boy Porter. My sweetie.

His new tattoo.

Rebel or nerd?

At the party there was a blow up castle where the kids play. They liked the gargoyles at the entrance. It was alot of fun to watch all the little kids wander aimlessly.

Looking up at the spiders and bats.

Playing with Sissy in the castle.

Dad and his little sweetheart.

Grandpa with Buddy.

I really like this photo. See his lady sailor tattoo?

Gargoyles go "Rawwwwr"

Pondering the gargoyle. Thinking about touching it.

At the hop

Uh oh. The lip.

Ok false alarm. She's recovering.

The fun part was heading to our neighbor's house. Debbie always has the best snacks and trats for the kids. (and she has wine too!) Here Abbey is eye ballin' the goodies. She came up to me and said "cake". She saw cupcakes and she proceeded to stick her little fingertips in the icing and lick them. It was really cute. Then she would take a cookie, eat one bite and put it back on the plate. I think the kids had about 3 cookies each.

Hmmmmm, what shall I have?

Afterwards, we ran around Debbie's backyard and got some of our energy out.

weeeeeeeee, I'm pretty.

We ended the night with some tumbling.
