Our trip to Austin Nature and Science Center

Austin offers quite a few free things to do with kids. The Science center is one of them. It's located at Zilker Park.

The kids loved walking around and just being in wide open spaces. Touching all the rocks and playing in the sand was good for them.

We saw a coyote, a hawk, 2 raccoons, a snake, owls of all sorts, a bobcat and an eagle.

Look out Las Vegas

Carey, I and the kids headed out to Sun City to visit my mom and her friend Roy. He has slot machines. The kids thought they were pretty cool. They got the hang of pulled in the lever really quick.

Porter is playing in his diaper. I told Carey that I'm sure there are quite a few people playing in diapers. (Hence Depends)

I found the other bear that we received when the kids were in the NICU. I put it on Abbey's bed for her to see after her walk. She said, "Two bearrrrrrrrrrrrs"

So sweet. And she has on Great Grandma Best's earrings. Grandma Best gave her those.

My friend Erin and her husband Jon have a new baby. She is so pretty. Erin stopped by to visit us.

The kids never took a nap that day. We had Dylan's party to attend. It was gonna be a long afternoon. And boy was it.



Abigail with a horse. She was asleep when we pulled into the ranch. As soon as she woke up this horse was staring straight at her. She must have thought she was dreaming.

Oh boy. Abbey is riding a horse! She didn't move or utter a word. She was so in awe.

The next day was the annual cookout. We had burgers and fixins. Alot of people showed up and the weather was absolutely gorgeous.
