Big shoes to fill

Lago Vista
Saturday night we drove out to Lago Vista to have dinner with our friends Nancy and Scott. They're the ones who just got through building their dream home. We sat out on the back deck and ate dinner and drank beer. It was a really nice evening and they don't get flies out there. The kids had fun playing with Colin and Connor and they have the best toys. We explored the property a bit too. Carey and Scott had alot to talk about since Scott works for Paypal/Ebay.



Abbey commandeered this police car immediately. Here she is before all hell broke loose.

Nancy let us all take a bath in her big Jacuzzi tub. It was alright except for Abigail screaming the whole time. This is what happens when you don't take a nap children.

Mandy, her mom and Mandy's kids came to Austin. We did quite a bit and I think they were really worn out by the time they left. We went to campus, IKEA and to Whole Foods and Town Lake.

Fun at Town Lake
It's so hot here. The kids love being in the water and you can only spend so much time in the backyard. I try to get them downtown once a week. It's a nice little outing and breaks up the day for the kids. They fall asleep in the car on the way home. We usually see the train and we like to wave. We are getting more and more daring with the water fountains too.

1. I wanted to be a pro tennis player.
2. I have all issues of George Magazine in my garage (JFK Jr's magazine).
3. I like red wine vinegar on wild rice.
4. I have a very good sense of direction.
5. I love the smell of gasoline.

We are CRAZY after our bath!
The kids love to run around the house and chase each other after their baths. Belly laughs are the best.

Movie time!
We took the kids to see Wall-e at AlamoDrafthouse on Friday. They didn't make a peep! And yes, Wall-e was great. Will you be seeing it and if you have seen it, what did you think?
