Ah HA!
There you are!
Everybody's (well, some of us) workin' for the weekend!

Stay Home Dad
Daddy, we miss you so much when you leave to go to work. We appreciate all the hard work you do and we miss you so much during the day. Thank you for taking us to church on Sundays. Thank you for talking everyone's ears off about us. You truly are the best daddy.

Ima' get you sucka'
Since Porter can pull up on things, he thinks it's fun to climb on the bouncy seat to bother Abigail. Poor Abigail, the pestering has just started.

Porter, can't you read!

Flashback Friday!
Well the days are passing right before our eyes. Days go by. Months go by. I'm still trying to figure out how to make time go slower. Remember when you were little and you wanted time to go fast because you wanted to be older or you wanted Christmas to be here? Things have reversed. Carey and I cannot imagine a greater love for these two children. We still peek in at night to see what new position they've gotten themselves into. They both sleep through the night. Abigail wouldn't wake if a wrecking ball coming through the window. She sleeps right through anything. Porter, however, is a little booger sometimes. He likes to be filled to the rim with milk then he'll swipe his bottle away, toss and turn a minute then go to sleep. But don't be fooled. If he even lets out a peep you better run that bottle in there to him. Sometimes he'll take a couple or three more ounces. Then it's off to night night land. Call it teething, end of the day frustration coming out. Maybe he misses us during the night.
Typical nightly conversation:
Carey: You got Porter tonight?
Me: No, I had him last night.
Carey: Are you sure?
Me: Yeah I'm sure.
Me: Makes the Tiger Woods Fist Pump with my fist like "yes!"

This means that I'll probably get a decent nights rest!

Abigail and Porter having fun.

Daddy watching over me.

My favorite place to go. Mommy always meets me. Wonder why? (Cause he's headed for the lamp cords)

Hanging out with my best friend.

Ta-Daaaa
And there you have it. Way to go Porter!

Congratulations to Julie and Jamiey on your engagement! We are very excited for you two!

Sea Legs
And he's up! Well almost. I mean can you imagine the strength it takes to get to this position? The kid is gonna stand (maybe walk) before his birthday I tell ya! I'm so proud of him.
***From the start, babies want to explore their world. They are eager to move their eyes, their mouths, and their bodies toward the people and objects that comfort and interest them. They practice skills that let them not only move closer to desired objects, but also move desired objects closer to themselves. As they grow, children's determination to master movement, balance, and fine-motor skills remains intense. (Taken from The Whole Child - Physical Development)

Flashback Friday!
Here are the kids at 5 weeks. They had been home 2 weeks at this point. Now their legs hang wayyyyy over the seats. They look so cozy in the blankets Grandman made them.

Chasing Porter
Before you think he gave Porter beer, Carey didn't. He was just drawn to the flashy can. Kinda like dad! This boy is everywhere. His favorite things are, of course, lamp cords and cell phones. He also likes to sit at the gate and look at the doggies. The middle pic is just one of the many talents Porter has. The last one is another talent! Not at night-night time though :(

Happy Abbey

Abigail and Porter tried Cheerios. They like them. They can't really pick them up yet so mom and dad help them. Mom and Abbey had fun with sticking them on our faces! I love the big grins she gives us.
