Mom is up early getting this post in. Mom and Dad got your little gift bags ready last night after we put you to bed. Dad is going in to work a little late because we are having a pancake breakfast for you complete with candles in the pancakes.
Three years ago we gave birth to the sweetest little set of twins. Porter, you came out first. You were born at 12:20am and Abigail you were next at 12:22. You both came out crying and were in very good health. It was a long night. Mom and dad got a little rest. But the adrenaline got us up early.
Dad was the first to see you. I had to recover overnight and got to see you the next day. It was so awesome seeing you both for the first time. The nurses in the NICU took such good care of you. They had you all wrapped up in blankets to keep you warm and to make you feel safe. The decorated your stations with little bunny pictures as it was Easter season.
We love you so very much. You both are really growing up fast. You crack us up everyday.
Porter. You love your big green monster truck, dirt, trains, dino nuggets, "Bummy", tractors and swings. You still love to snuggle with mom and dad. You love car rides and riding your tricycle.
Abigail. You love anything pink or "Princess" as you call it. You love catching Rolly Ponies with your brother. You love bracelets, lip gloss and getting your hair dried by mom after your bath and painted fingernails and toes. You also love trains.
Here's to 3!
Love,
Mommy and Daddy
