Living It Up

We got invited to an event where Robyn O'Brien was speaking. Stoneyfield Farms sponsored the event. How she got to even CARING about the food her family was eating is an incredible story.
I like that she lives by the 70/30 rules. 70 percent of the time you can have control over what you feed your family. The other 30 percent you gotta let slide.

Did I mention that there was a babysitting service on site in the room next to me? They were fabulous. The had craft stations set up and the kids were served a great lunch. They received these cute little capes too.

"Where we going?"

Nowhere. We are staying home today.

The kids ask me everyday if we're going anywhere. These kids like to do stuff.

So I said we weren't going anywhere in the car, but we could go on a trash walk.

Porter claimed to have picked up the most trash. And he is right. He did pick up the most trash. Abigail came in second.

Then we made marshmallow and toothpic structures. This one is Abigail's

She said this was a porcupine

Porter made quite the marshmallow train and a necklace.

Batman!

So fun to snuggle with the kids. This is what we did on the last eve on Memorial Day weekend. It was a Batman marathon.

Belle

Abigail loves her Belle doll. She now has to have her hair up like Belle's when she dresses up.

Baseball Game

Carey had to work late last week, so we headed to the ball game. They had me at "Kids eat free!"
So we grabbed some dogs and watched the game for a bit. The kids actually watched the game. Then we played on the playground for a bit. The evening was gorgeous.

Let the summer begin!

The kids can swim from 10-1 at Grammie and Papa's. We took full advantage of that. We even have 'gobbles' this year!

Thank goodness for Target!

Is it summer?

According to Abigail it's summer when you go swimming.

These two crack me up.

Playdoh ear plugs

I love him. He's so creative.

Graduation Day

The kids have done SO WELL this year. I have to brag. Not one accident! Not one tear. The kids loved their church school so much and so did we. From the teachers to the Director. A+ positive experience.
