Boo!!!

I think this is the kids' favorite holiday besides Christmas. I think it's mine too. I now have 3 tubs of Halloween decor.

Gotta have lots of bats in Austin

No one will want to go near our front door

Knee High Pumpkins

They are really knee high pumpkins. Stuff knee highs with polyfill and tie 'em up. Spray paint and you're done. They pack away nice too.

First Field Trip

We got to head out to the Capitol of Texas Zoo. It's a wild nature preserve type of zoo. No fancy zoo. It's very well funded as I found out. Over 30,000 visitors per year! Plus they have a relationship with Dallas World Aquarium. We were also told that one of the baby leopards from the zoo was on the Ellen Show with Jack Hanna.

There they go

Abbey, Abigail and Adeline

The whole class

Porter had a scab that had some off and it was really bleeding. We got it stopped. Addie was really concerned about Porter.

This is the sweetest bunch of kids. All the kindergartners had a really good time.

Tulsa Trip 2011

A trip downtown to Dwelling Spaces is always on the list of places to stop in

Dinner at Blue Rose

Uncle Matt and Brit
Mom and Dad
A trip to Swan Lake
Birdies at Utica Square.
Carey waited patiently while I browsed Anthropolgie. Smart stores have couches for the husbands.

Dallas

We made a pit stop in Dallas on our way to Tulsa. So nice to stay with great friends. Emme and Ruby were born on the 26th of April. Two weeks after Porter and Abigail. The kids were all in the same NICU, but it was playgroup that really sealed our friendship. That and many playdates at the park, splashpad, Austin Nature Science Center, Blues on the Green, SXSW, Cathedral of Junk....you name it, we have done it! So strange they are no longer in Austin.

An old friend

My childhood friend Shelley came to visit us in Austin. Her daughter plays soccer for OU so that's why she's wearing that awful shirt. The kids loved her!
