Our Fourth Festivities
Grandma Sumner, Grandma and Grandpa Best and the Gang walked over to the parade this morning. There were a few showers, but that didn't seem to dampen the spirits of the celebration. Afterwards, we went to have lunch at grandma and grandpa's house. We had hot dogs, of course, and some fixin's. Then we hung out, took naps and got ready for the cookout on our block.

Baby boy and girl firecrackers. The kids wore these outfits last year. They swallowed them.

I sure am enjoying all this company and conversation

The crew: Our neighbors Nancy and Fred and Debbie and Gus hosted. The food was GREAT. We stood and Pledged Allegiance to the Flag. Afterall, the 4th is about remembering our heros and those that sacrificed their lives to give us the gift of freedom.

Is it really time to go to bed?
