I've never done a blog hop. Looks like fun and I think I'll join in!
Today we are sharing one of our favorite pictures. I can think of thousands, as I take LOTS of pictures. But one come to mind and that is my husband holding our precious twins in the NICU hours after the were born. (He was the first to hold them as I was back in the room recovering)
Our twins were born healthy thank God. They were born 6 weeks premature on April 15th, 2006 and stayed in the NICU for about a month. Porter came home on Cinco De Mayo (Friday, May 5) and Abigail came home that Sunday.
Here's the picture of Carey holding the twins.

I didn't even have to go to Goodwill
I'm joining http://southernhospitality-rhoda.blogspot.com/ in showing off my treasures.
On my weekly trip to the library to return books, I saw these by the curb. The cradle needs some work as well as the highchair. Not alot. Just some glue, sand paper and some love.
The highchair: It was MADE IN THE SOUTH. (Upper left corner of sticker) That's exactly what is says. It's by Cass Toy Co. I might have a treasure on my hands.
Who would throw this out? I think it might have been a landlord as the house looked creepy and there was a for sale sign. It could have been a foreclosure. Sad.
Abigail and Porter will treasure these.

Did I mention we were part of a supper club?
Well we are. And it's F.U.N. Most are AMOM'ers, but not all.
Most people might think of a supper club as elderly folks sitting around talking about Geritol and Depends. Not ours.
My good friend Jennifer created our supper club a few months ago. The first one was at her house, the second at this pool and our friends Chrystel and Jamie, along with us, are hosting the third one.

Miss America, I mean Miss Universe, in the pool

Making friends

This is either Mallory or Kelby. (Forgive me Jennifer!)

Jeremy in the beans

Why is it that we get really hungry when located near a body of water?

Water gun fun
Are you in a supper club? Were your parents? Would you like to start a supper club?

At the cousin's house to play
A few weeks ago we headed up to the cousin's house to play. They have the giant water slide. They also have a pet turtle that the kids loved. Boy was it hot outside.

Abbey making the big climb

All by myself

Porter in charge of the squirting gun

Getting cousin Kyler

The turtle. I forgot his name. He's actually from OKLAHOMA! Okie turtle.

The boys taking a break. Look at the tans.

mmmmmm snacks. Porter, later on, got out every toy in Kyler's room. But he cleaned it up too.

Happy Fourth of July

You're a grand old flag,
You're a high flying flag
And forever in peace may you wave.
You're the emblem of
The land I love.
The home of the free and the brave.
Ev'ry heart beats true
'neath the Red, White and Blue,
Where there's never a boast or brag.
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
Keep your eye on the grand old flag.

A little bit of Abigail in my life
Porter and the vintage apron
Horsin' around and lunchcakes
Porter usually joins Abigail in her bed. Sometimes she likes it, other times she doesn't. Looks like they were having fun here.

Womb-mates

The kids love playing with jewelry

Must have on all 4 rings to eat lunch

And Porter gets his bear and heart ring

Time for "lunchcakes". Porter calls pancakes lunch cakes. He'll say "Eat lunchcakes"

A good hearty breakfast. Bananas and lunchcakes
