Taking Bear for a ride

When Abigail was first given this stroller by Tulsa Grammie and Papa, she didn't want the baby that came with it to ride. Nope. No one but her and brother bear were gonna sit in the stroller. Well now I think Abigail has caught on. She now takes Bear for rides all the time. She kills me with her purse on her shoulder.

Star of Texas Rodeo

It was my turn to be under the weather. But we went anyway. It was date night for Carey and I. Haven't been to a rodeo in years.

Gotta take the kids to see this.

Pic for Bubby

Chutes

Winners of the Sheep racing

Buckin' Bronco. Man I don't see how these guys do it.

Josh Turner. He sounds EXCELLENT in concert. His band is phenomenal. He kicked it off with "Firecracker"

New Swing and slide

Finally. Some pics of the swing set. The kids are loving it. Thank you to Tulsa Grammie and Papa, and Uncle Matt, Grammie and Grandpa Best and Grammie Sondra.

Opening the box and figuring out what goes where. Directions never hurt anyone.

This might go down in the history books. A male reading directions. Grandpa is that you?

What can I help with? I'm a good helper.

I'll just run around and be cute.

Hmmm, what's this?

Lil' Bit was there to help too!

So were Annie and Cookie. Now Annn-nnnnnnnnnnnnnie!

Almost.

Kids on swing.

Kids had fun. This is the day they started to get sick. Abbey had pink eye and Porter was running a fever.

We are back!

Tap tap. Is this thing on?
Sorry for the delay. I think this has been the longest delay yet. Kids were sick, we were sick. Needed to purchase more GB's for this blog. So here we are. Ahhhhh. Hello Blogging!

Lots of rest. Fevers broken. Tylenol. Lots of cuddling. Eye drop for pink eye.

Elmo makes everything better

Porter needs more stuffed animals

Pink eye. Or attack of the allergies. Doc said pink eye.

Star of Texas Rodeo Cowboy Breakfast

Have I mentioned we've had a very busy week? OMG. We got up at the crack of dawn and headed downtown to the Cowboy Breakfast. This event kicks of the rodeo. I'm glad we went. There were pancakes, coffee, donuts, milk, juice and entertainment all for free for the adults and little buck-a-roos.

Sam and Bucky - KVET 98.1

Busky and Sam again

Trick roper. Ropin' kids and having them try and escape. Abigail and Porter know what trick roping is from having watched Oklahoma! so many times.

Pancakes and syrup. mmmmmmmmmm

Our first balloons. I thought these were gonna be the death of me. They kept coming off the sticks and I'd have to chase them. They did pretty good. (They are in the trashcan now with no huge melt down)

Bubby and his balloon.

Entertainment

Abigail let me put her over the hay bales and she went to dance

There they are..............without ME!

Longhorn. Abigail wanted to "get on"...I don't think so sweetheart.

Betsy the Cow - Star of Texas Mascot

Abigail LOVED her. She was hesitant at first and was really admiring her dress. Finally she went over to her.

Abigail got many compliments on her cowgirl dress.

After the breakfast. Tired and ready to go home.
