Baby got a brand new pair of scissors

I got the kids some scissors. They only cut paper. I made sure. I showed Porter once how to use them. He got the hang of it. He can press them together but has not figured out to pull them apart with just your finger and your thumb. He takes them off, opens them up with both hands, then puts his fingers back in to cut.
