What am I supposed to do with this?

Yesterday I took the kids to the park. We went with Jennifer, Jack and Caden the twins and baby Bella. It was a bit windy. I looked over and Abigail was shivering. I wrapped her up and all she wanted to do was get back down and play. Now I'll always know to carry jackets!

Carey's crazy Valentine's Day socks. Happy Valentine's Day everyone.

Today is really nice outside, so we are going to the park later. Carey and I are dividing the yard soon so the kids can have one side and the dogs the other. Then we'll put the slide outside to climb on. I guess this means they're growing up when they get to play outside. Summer should be fun too. I'll have to get them a turtle pool for the hot days. Oh and we also have the picnic table so we can have picnics everyday. And swimming in the pool counts as a bath so they should be super clean by the end of the summer.

Well Porter is on the mend. We visited the ER on Wednesday night because I thought something was really wrong. Turns out he's healthy as a horse. Both kids had been sick with a viral infection (we probably got it off the nasty highchair at McDonald's........ewwww, I'm not doing that again) and Abigail had healed fine. Porter just wasn't right for a few days and was screaming and I couldn't even console him. I almost called EMS. Took him to the ped's office and they checked him over. They said to take him to the ER if it happened again. At around 9pm on Wednesday night he started crying again. I took him and he got the full work over. Nothing. So here we are. Poor Buddy just wasn't feeling good I guess. We'll be keeping a close eye on him these next few days.

Waiting on a Friend
The kids played in their room for a bit yesterday morning. It was a change from the living room. I think the kids enjoyed it. What they really like is to pull out mommy and daddy's CDs. But they are getting better knowing those are off limits. I love taking profile photos of the kids and especially love photos from the back. Just something about them.
The kids have been under the weather for a couple of days. Fevers with no symptoms. Porter's fever is back so he and I will go to the doc this morning. Abigail seems to be over whatever it was.

So, this morning as I was flipping through my calendar it stopped on a page near the end of the calendar…Amy Knapp’s Family Story. Now why would you put your family story in a calendar? But, one sentence caught my attention…Our blessings can sometimes seem mixed. My initial thought was, “You’ve got that right”. So, I read her family story and guess what? She has a special need daughter and created the calendar because she could not find one to address her many medical appointments and family obligations. I guess that is why this calendar has been so helpful for me. If you are like me just trying stay afloat and in the right place at the right time, definitely check this calendar out. I got mine at Barnes and Noble.

So if you remember, yesterday I said that the kids had taken off their clothing when we got home from visiting our friends. Well here's a couple of photos I got.
